That’s right. Felicity is now available on Netflix Instant View. I never caught the show when it was on television because it’s horrible. I decided to give it a chance ten plus years later. Do I regret my decision? Of course. Do I regret it every time I spend time watching AN ENTIRE SERIES OF BULLSHIT on Netflix? That goes without saying.
Here’s the thing: Felicity gets me. She is going through some major life changes that happen while adjusting to adulthood. Should she go for Ben? Should she forgive Noel? (Don’t worry, it’s pronounced NOLE not NO-EL.) Does she choose the Jello salad for lunch in the caf? Or the tuna melt? Like I said, huge life decisions. I’m only on season one but I can already tell she’s probably going to choose the egg salad.
I’m unfortunately finding myself in similar positions. How long do I stay at this job? Should I repaint the dining room? If I move to another city will I make any friends? And most importantly, what do I eat for dinner? Tuna? Eggs?
But on a more serious note: being twenty is hard. My mom once said that being in her twenties was a fun and exciting time in her life. When asked if she would do it again she replied with a confident ‘no’. I’m looking forward to a life that’s a little more stable than it is now. But for the time being, I’ll go for the tuna.
